Welcome Charles
of Italy Beauty College and School of Massage Therapy would like to welcome
you to the profession of cosmetology. No matter which of the many possible
career paths you may choose, our instructors and staff are here to open the
doors to your future. Charles of Italy
offers training programs in Aesthetics, Cosmetology, Nail Technology,
Instructor programs. Entrance
requirements for each of these programs as well as specific information about
them and our school is available in our school catalogue. To request a

Charles
of Italy Beauty College and School of Massage Therapy first opened in Lake Havasu City, Arizona
in 1980 and has been under the continuous control and ownership and operation
of Mr. Charles Bartolomeo and his spouse, Mrs. Lee A. Bartolomeo. Mr.
Bartolomeo is a World Champion stylist and the holder of several national and
international titles and many various industry awards. Mrs. Bartolomeo has won several competitive
awards in cosmetology and has had multiple appointments to the Arizona State
Board of Cosmetology. Mr. and Mrs. Bartolomeo have been active in the
cosmetology industry for over four decades, teaching licensed professionals
and beginning students alike throughout their careers, the Bartolomeos have
been dedicated to advancing the cosmetology profession and related fields. Facilities and Equipment
Charles
of Italy Beauty College and School of Massage Therapy occupies over 6000
square feet in a downtown professional office building. Located on the second floor of the complex,
4500 square feet are dedicated solely to its cosmetology programs. The
cosmetology facility is designed to accommodate forty students. It consists
of two large clinic areas, skin care service area, dispensary,
classroom/break room, administrative offices and restroom facilities. The
massage therapy facilities are located on the ground floor of the complex and
utilize over 1500 square feet with three treatment rooms, two classrooms and
breakroom, restrooms and reception area and share the administrative offices
with the cosmetology program, The massage therapy program facilities can
accommodate 15 students. Both the
cosmetology and massage therapy locations are accessible by public
transportation, but have no handicapped facilities. Institutional Calendar

Day Class Starting Dates
Charles
of Italy Beauty College and School of Massage Therapy begins new classes for
its cosmetology programs on the first Monday of each month. If the starting date happens to fall on a
holiday recognized by the institution, classes will begin on the first
Tuesday of that particular month. Massage Therapy classes begin the first
