Nail Technology
The
600 clock hour nail technology program is designed to prepare its students
for the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology licensing examination and
subsequent profitable employment in the field of nail technology. The knowledge and skills gained through
this course of study will prepare the licensed graduate for work as a nail
technician, manicurist, pedicurist, product technician, demonstrator, nail
salon owner or manager, as well as other industry related occupations. This
program is
NACCAS
accredited, which means that U.S. Department of Education Title IV Student
Financial Assistance is available to students who qualify. Nail
Technology program classes are Monday through Friday, with Saturdays offered
as an optional attendance day. Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday
from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM, part-time students attend Monday through Friday
from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM. Classes begin the first Monday of each month.
Depending upon attendance and scheduling it is possible that a student could
complete this program in as short a period as three and one half months. The
maximum completion time frame is six months. Students who exceed their
contract period may be subject to overtime charges for each hour of overtime required to complete their
program. The current charge for overtime if $9.80 per hour. The
